FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. -- Approximately 30 Soldiers with the 213th Personnel Company, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, celebrated their return from a deployment to the Middle East during a ceremony here May 2.

The Soldiers provided a range of support functions, including theater gateway operations to in-process and out-process service members, a range of other administrative support functions, and conducting casualty accountability and reports in support of Operations Freedom’s Sentinel, Spartan Shield and Inherent Resolve.

“I know you all have heard this many times, but I want to say it again: Welcome home,” said Col. Angelo Catalano, 213th RSG commander. “You do not have to serve in silence. Tell your stories whenever possible, talk to family and friends, tell them about your experiences and what you do."

The 213th Personnel Co., which spent approximately nearly one year on this deployment including pre- and post-deployment training, is one of the most deployed units in the Pennsylvania National Guard in the post-9/11 era.
