Chief Master Sergeant Paul G. Frisco, Jr., is the tenth State Command Chief of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He serves as the senior enlisted advisor to the commander on all issues affecting mission effectiveness, training, health, conduct, utilization of the force, and quality of life concerning the personnel of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Chief Frisco’s scope of responsibility includes both federal and state missions, 4,100 Airmen assigned to three Air Wings and serving at six geographic locations.
CMSgt Frisco was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1983. CMSgt Frisco was assigned to the 27th Fighter Wing Cannon AFB, New Mexico. He was a Vehicle Dispatcher and Heavy Equipment Operator and Trainer assigned to the 27th Transportation Squadron. After arriving at the 111th Fighter Wing in 1985 he was a Crew Chief in the Aircraft Generation Squadron, eventually moving on to the Supervisors position in the Phase Inspection Element of the Squadron and finishing his tenure in Aircraft Maintenance as the Aircraft Maintenance
Squadron Superintendent. CMSgt Frisco then served as the Anti-Terrorism Officer for the 111th Attack Wing and Horsham Air Guard Station, Horsham, Pennsylvania. He was responsible for all Anti-Terrorism programs, Training and Anti-Terrorism Measures for the installation. He was an advisor to the Wing Commander regarding security intelligence received from various governmental and outside intelligence organizations. In 2014 CMSgt Frisco became the Wing Command Chief at the 111th Attack Wing. He was an advisor to the Wing Commander on all enlisted matters. CMSgt Frisco also served as adviser to wing councils such as the Chief’s Council, First Sergeant’s Council and the Rising Six Council.
CMSgt Frisco has deployed in support of several overseas contingencies to include Operation SOUTHERN WATCH while assigned to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait in 1995, 1999, and 2001. He was also assigned to the 455th Air Expeditionary Operations Group in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in 2002/2003 and 2008. He deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM to Al Asad Air Base, Iraqi in 2007 assigned to the 438th Expeditionary Group.
