Holy Joe’s donates 12 pallets of coffee pods to Pa. Guard troops

By Sgt. 1st Class Zane Craig

Holy Joe’s Café, a nonprofit organization that donates coffee to service members, recently donated 12 pallets of coffee pods to the Pennsylvania National Guard.

The pods were delivered to a central warehouse at Fort Indiantown Gap on Aug. 3

The Pa. Guard’s Joint Force Headquarters religious affairs office coordinated the donation and delivery was made through CFI trucking company, who actively supports U.S. troops through a number of company initiatives, including delivering coffee donations for Holy Joe’s.

"The Pennsylvania National Guard is grateful for the amazing donation of coffee from Holy Joe's Cafe for our men and women in uniform,” said Chaplain Lt. Col. Schaun Myers with JFHQ. “We thank the vendors who donated the pallets of coffee, and know that the Chaplain Corps will be excited to distribute it across our formation."

Since 2006, Holy Joe’s Café, based in Connecticut, has been sending free coffee to U.S. military bases around the world, with the mission of serving a little bit of home to those who serve their country.
