111th Attack Wing hosts high school students for career fair

Members of the 111th Attack Wing teamed up with the 111th Recruiting and Retention flight to invite local high school juniors and seniors to Biddle Air National Guard Base in Horsham, Pennsylvania for a military career fair Nov. 9, 2022. More than 70 students from approximately eight local high schools attended the event for an opportunity to learn more about Pennsylvania Air National Guard careers from dozens of men and women currently serving with the 111th Attack Wing.

A remotely operated Common Robotic System – Individual uses its extendable arm to drop a simulated grenade into a box during training on Nov. 9, 2022, at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. The CRS-I is a 32-pound, tracked robot with multiple cameras and an extendable arm that can fit into a medium ruck sack or an assault pack.

Pa. National Guard allows twins to support family, start career

The twins, trained as 91B wheeled vehicle mechanics, said they’re grateful to the Army National Guard for giving them a head start on their careers after quitting high school in order to support their family. They will be assigned to a Pittsburgh-based National Guard unit upon their departure from Fort Lee.

Pa. Guard honors photo contest winners

Winning photos were determined by the PA NG’s social media audience on Facebook and Instagram in a head-to-head tournament-style contest. During the ceremony at Fort Indiantown Gap, Oct. 23, Maj. Gen. Mark Schindler, the Adjutant General of Pennsylvania, presented each Soldier with a certificate of appreciation.
