Successful inspection at the 171st Air Refueling Wing

Guardsmen assigned to the 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard proceed through a personnel deployment line during a Nuclear Operational Readiness Inspection August 26, 2022 near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The NORI is a routine exercise used to evaluate a units capability to perform as a nuclear support unit.

Lithuanian Land Force commander visits Pa.

1067th Composite Truck Co. returns from Middle East deployment

1067th Transportation Company, 228th Transportation Battalion, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard conducting loading operations with the Montana Army National Guard, Combined Arms Battalion, 1-163rd Cavalry Regiment. Training loading and unloading of the M1A1 Abrams Tank and the M2A3 Bradly Fighting Vehicle for a simulated Homeland Response Force (HRF) movement. The preparation is in support of Operation Spartan Shield at Camp Buehring Kuwait.

28th ID Soldiers honored during deployment ceremony

Pa. National Guard Airmen receive Catto Medal

The Maj. Octavius V. Catto statue in Philadelphia is adorned with wreaths Oct. 1, 2022. Catto was a Civil War-era Pennsylvania militia officer who was killed in Philadelphia in 1871 while on duty defending African-Americans at polling places from those who opposed their right to vote. An annual award in his name is given to Pennsylvania National Guard members who distinguish themselves as leaders through community support and public service.

111th Attack Wing conducts readiness exercise
