Titan of Air Force history recognized, celebrated in Boyertown

Brig. Gen. Michael Regan, Pa. deputy adjutant general-air (right), rubs shoulders with Gen. Carl Spaatz re-enactor Chris Boswell following a road dedication ceremony in Boyertown, Pa. June 28, 2018. Spaatz, the first Chief of Staff of the newly formed Air Force following the enactment of the National Security Act of 1947 grew up in Boyertown and is touted as one of their greatest citizens.

Army unveils new Black Hawk variant at Fort Indiantown Gap

A UH-60V Black Hawk helicopter is parked on Muir Army Airfield for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new variant on Oct. 6, 2021, at the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training Site at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. EAATS was the first unit in the Army – active duty, National Guard or Army Reserve – to receive the new variant.

111th ATW members volunteer at Medal of Honor Grove

Pennsylvania Air National Guardsmen with the 111th Attack Wing, headquartered in Horsham, Pennsylvania, break up blacktop at the Medal of Honor Grove, Freedoms Foundation, Valley Forge Pennsylvania,  June 16, 2021. The 111th Guardsmen volunteered to help clean, organize, and remove debris with the Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove, an all-volunteer group that maintains the Medal of Honor Grove.

213th Regional Support Group welcomes new command sergeant major

Soldiers with the 213th Regional Support Group gathered at Strickler Field on Fort Indiantown Gap Sept. 17 to witness the transfer responsibility from Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew Campbell to Command Sgt. Maj. Marc Weiss in a traditional ceremony. To symbolize the transfer of responsibility, a ceremonial sword was passed from Campbell, to 213th RSG commander Col. Pa. Guard, Lithuanians train together in State Partnership Program platoon exchange
