Pennsylvania National Guard members practice guarding networks against cyber attacks

Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers with the Defense Cyber Operations Element participate in Cyber Shield 20 at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, Sept. 20, 2020. In total 16 PNG Soldiers joined more than 800 National Guard Soldiers and Airmen from more than 40 states for the exercise designed to sharpen their skills as network defenders from Sept. 12-27.

28th ECAB digging in for Mideast mission

A CH-47 Chinook helicopter, operated by Soldiers with Bravo Company, 2-104th General Support Aviation Battalion, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, takes off from an airfield for a local area orientation flight in the 28th ECAB's area of operations after arriving in the Middle East. These flights ensure 28th ECAB aircrews are properly acclimated and can conduct missions safely during the deployment.

Pa. Guardsmen compete in annual The Adjutant General’s Combined-Arms Match

Approximately 50 Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers and Airmen competed with rifles and pistols in multiple courses of fire to during The Adjutant General’s (TAG) Combined-Arms Match at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa., Aug. 21-23. The combined-arms individual overall champion was Army Sgt. Jason Goodling, standing with Maj. Gen. Anthony Carrelli, Pennsylvania’s adjutant general, and Maj. Gen.
