1-107th Field Artillery Soldiers take part in African Lion 23 in Tunisia

Soldiers with the 1-107th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania National Guard fire an M777 Howitzer during African Lion 23, May 27, 2023 at Ben Ghilouf Training Area, Tunisia. AL 23 provides an opportunity to conduct realistic, dynamic and collaborative readiness training in an austere environment that intersects multiple geographic and functional combatant commands including U.S. Africa Command, U.S. European Command, and U.S. Central Command. Eighteen nations and approximately 8,000 personnel will participate in African Lion 23, U.S. Africa Command's largest annual combined, joint exercise that will take place in multiple countries to include Tunisia from May 13 - June 18, 2023. ESGR Bosslift highlights Pa. Guard mission, capabilities to employers

Pennsylvania’s chapter of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) held a Bosslift event for approximately 20 civilian employers of Pennsylvania National Guard members May 9-10 at Fort Indiantown Gap. The Bosslift includes a tour of several Fort Indiantown Gap facilities with the opportunity for the employers to try flight and weapons simulators, serves as a thank you to the employers for supporting their employees. 131st Transportation Co. completes cross-country road trip for AT

U.S. Soldiers with the Pennsylvania National Guard’s 131st Transportation Company, 228th Transportation Battalion, 213th Regional Support Group, drive 111 20-foot containers of ammunition from Fort Indiantown Gap to Hawthorne, Nevada as part of Army Materiel Command’s Operation Patriot Press, an ammunition redistribution mission involving the movement of ammo from coast-to-coast.
